Black Vegetarians was an online magazine we created 22 years ago to talk about all aspects of veganism for black folks. The features changed weekly - and one of our favorites was an early survey we did of black vegans:
Here's a graph and some of the testimonials people shared about why they went vegan - the top reasons were: Health - 34, Ethical - 14%, and Religious or Spiritual - 12%:
